Legian Studio

Sunset Pilates Legian is our first pilates studio. Located on Dewi Sri Street, No. 98 Legian Kelod, Kuta. Since opening in 2007 it has become a busy hub for Pilates lovers in the local community and tourists looking to continue their workout or try something new while on vacation. The beautiful space is a fully equipped boutique studio providing private and small group classes on mattresses and reformers with one of our comprehensive certified instructors.

We trust in the foundation and follow the Classical method which preserves the integrity of the original and true Joseph Pilates teachings to give you the most unique and tailored workout possible.

Pilates is for everybody.  A certified instructor will help you advance through the different levels of class as you progress in your Pilates practice, or work with you privately on your specific body needs. Pilates invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit, our goal is to assist clients in achieving their full potential in core strength, flexibility and control. Come in and discover how a regular Pilates workout routine can transform your body and mind from the inside out.

Moving with the flow concentrating on the dynamic of the movement pattern while paying attention to the rhythm of your breathing pattern. Preferable for those who are already familiar with classical movements.

Pilates with Props

Sclupt Class

Stretch Strenght and more stretch to work and body alignment, balance, feeling your body, lengthen and strongly recommended for those with muscle tightness and areas that need toning.

Classical Repetoire

Original Contrology movement emphasises fundamental exercises, alignment posture correction, and correct breathing patterns. Slow moving to get core strength get to the principle of concentration, control, centring, flow movement, precision, and breathing.

Cardio Pilates

For those who want to work more intensely the cardio engagement and sweat this class is more suitable for more intermediate to advance levels and want to challenge using different equipment.

Private Class

A personalized hour-long session designed to concentrate on each individual’s needs. The teacher will evaluate your body, type, posture, and past medical history and address any rehabilitation requirements. Private classes are designed to help you perform the exercises efficiently and with the correct form so that you can get the best results from your workout.

Couples Class

Similar to a private session, couples classes are designed for those wanting to have individualised attention and share it with a partner or friend. Experience an integrative workout using all of the Pilates apparatus and props. Enjoy the benefits of feeling stronger, leaner and healthier. Couples classes are also a fun way to enjoy Pilates at a less expensive rate.

Group Class

Get the most out of your workout in a fun and exciting group setting. Group class use your body weight as the primary source of resistance and are inclusive of various props including foam rollers, magic circles and Swiss balls etc. to add variety and an extra challenge. Group class are open to all fitness levels as the instructor offers modifications for those who are beginners, and variations for the more advanced. If you have any injuries or movement limitations, we highly recommend taking private sessions for assessment and guidance before taking the class.

Rehabilitation Class

Live your best life with our private Pilates rehabilitation programmes designed to meet your specific goals. Rehabilitation class are a safe and effective practice in recovering from an injury or managing a chronic condition.
Our highly skilled instructors will plan a Pilates-based exercise program based on a thorough assessment and will work closely with your physical or occupational therapist throughout your progression.

pregnancy class

Prenatal & Postnatal Class

Pilates is an ideal form of exercise during pregnancy as it works your core muscles and pelvic floor enabling a fast post-natal recovery. Pregnancy classes are an hour long and hold up to 4 women so the instructors can provide safe personal care and attention. You can join a pregnancy class once you have had your 12-week scan and have approval from your doctor or midwife.

Circuit Class

A circuit class is a program designed to have a full-body workout in a fun way boosting your cardio, strength and flexibility. The group will be divided into small numbers using different Pilates equipment moving to the next station after approx 1 minute. It’s challenging, fun and ensures to stay fit.
